Personality: Generally nice, but is usually very mischievous. Like all foxes he is elusive and quite hard to find. He hates his family business, however has a knack for accounting and business management.
Backstory: He was born into a wealthy Faunus Family, his father ran a Dust company (Volkeshire Dust Co.) in Mistral (where Amarth was born) and lived with his parents and sister. 6 months after amarth was born, the mother Emilia wanted another child but her husband Richard didnt have the time, so against his will she adopted a child (Cyana Noira-Volkeshire) and raised her. Richard was angry but directed his anger toward Cyana. Amarth, 14 at the time, stood up for her, stressing Richard out. The stress was too much for Richard on top of managing a buisness and raising kids so he died of a heart attack. Amarth grew distant from his family after that. His widowed mother even left the children to fend for themselves. So Amarth's sister Krimson "Kriss" Volkeshire took over the buisness at age 17.
Amarth wandered for 4 months as a petty thief skipping town whenever the law beat down on him too much. He then came upon Beacon academy he had heard of Ozpin and his great works as a mentor. He joined under the name Volkeshire however, even after abandoning his family.
Weapon: The Pact. His weapon is a Nodachi sword with a Saiga 12k(semi automatic shotgun), The handle is slightly longer due to space needed for the trigger,the barrel is about midway on the sword. The sheath also is a chainsaw like weapon having a band of serrated "teeth" on the side but it has limited use. The chain only begins to revolve when Dust is loaded or his semblance is active.
Based off of: The German Folktale BearSkin about a man who makes a pact with the devil to not bathe or cut his nails for several years he also has to wear a bearskin coat. Richard represents the man, in the sense that he made a deal with Roman, Roman can 'borrow" Richard's dust in exchange for a couple million dirty lien. Amarth wears a bearskin choker representing the coat and the restraint his father puts on him.
