Appearance[]
Aruna is quite tall,standing at the height of 6'2 and has quite a muscular build his eye color is Red he sports a Formal styled hair cut which is colored reddish brown he also sports a small stubble as a Faunus he has the ears of a Jackal.
In his Combat outfit. Aruna wears a four pocket short sleeve shirt that is colored tan at the right side his emblem is present as for protection he got a black Chest rig. The rig is built to carry his magazines,tools and other gear and around his neck he has a Shemagh with a red and white pattern he also has a desert chocolate chip pattern pants and for shoes he goes with guide way walkers when he does show up on the desert he brings with him a durable pair of aviator glasses for protection against the sand, His outfit is for hiding to the desert.
His Chest rig carries ten magazines.
At his back he carries with him a ALICE pack that contains his miscellaneous gear and a desert camoflaged tarp for sniping at open ground.His chest rig only protects his vital organs except his stomach. Its his last line of defense when his aura fails.
For the School uniform is default but what makes him stand out is he wears his shemagh along with it.
For his Casual outfit he wears a tan shirt,blue jeans and wears his favorite red and white pattern Shemagh.
The red and white patterned shemagh that he values so much was given to him by his Mother.
And for Pajamas since he grew up in a hot climate he cannot fall asleep unless completely naked.
Personality[]
Aruna always tries his best to get closer to the people around him. When he speaks he has this baritone voice with a metallic after sound in a calm and quiet fashion. To him experience is the best teacher that's why he always practices and tries things out to become better.
Generally he is a calm,professional,businesslike and hard working. He's a man of action who loves seeing his work turn out to be good.
As a product of a Hunter father he is dedicated for the greater good and public service along with his talent as a sniper he would end up as a hunter without a doubt. But Aruna has this rebellious attitude he does not easily accept rules and norms still there are limitations to this independence.

He always speaks in a polite manner he never swears and he always compliments people. He refuses to be called sir and asks people to call him by his first name.
He will strive for justice he takes down criminals,Grimm and terrorists preying down at the populace. It's a burning need and he cannot tolerate people who freely roam despite their actions.
When he is with a leader he becomes extremely cooperative he becomes concerned for the people around, He is willing to follow his team even at suicide missions he is willing to disobey orders to save his close friends and to people who has played a big part in his life.
Aruna is a tough person but he secretly fears people against him with much greater skill. He is also afraid of the Grimm 'Nevermore'
He tends to sleep longer than intended because of that he gets late at classes frequently.
Should you ever catch him naked...He is not shy about it. Infact he does not care!
When in combat he is silent and talks only when needed to. And when he is out in the wilds his survivor instincts kick in he will eat anything that moves insects,birds you name it!
His Jackal perk being a scavenger combined with his personality being extremely polite he would deny himself meals when given then at the very end he would eat the left overs when nobody is looking he can't help it and becomes extremely embarrassed when you talk about it.

Omega[]
Is a Semi-Automatic magazine fed Anti-Material rifle equipped with an iron sight it carries ten 12.7mm bullets per magazine. Omega is designed to hit targets hiding behind cover and is very reliable able to withstand humid and arid conditions its so durable you can do push ups with it! When Omega needs to hide in plain sight it can transform into a very long flute that is actually playable.Omega is so powerful that anyone with a normal aura can be rendered defenseless.
The gun has been spray-painted tan using mesh fencing and cardboard cutouts as stencils at the stock of Omega the emblem is proudly placed on the left and at the right side of his stock his name is written in it. At the Fore-end of the rifle there is a compass duct taped to it.
A very interesting thing about Omega is that it is the Swiss-army knife of the firearms world. The Bipod retainer can be used as a Bottle opener and the front mount of the bayonet can be used as a Wire-Cutter.
Omega is a old relic of the past and has seen many battles, Omega was used by his father. His Dad called the weapon 'The Pig' it was heavy and chewed through allot of bullets. Aruna didn't like it so he called the weapon Omega when it was handed down to him
Aruna has heavily modified the weapon so it can put up against its modern equivalent. Also another important note is that many snipers prefer to shoot a Sniper rifle with a scope. That is not the case for Aruna his eye sight is so strong that a scope is useless or even kinda annoying. Another advantage of not having a scope is that he does not have any tunnel vision he can see his surroundings and spot enemies attempting to flank him.
The gun has zeroing and can be adjusted by pulling back the bolt and moving a large gear left or right. It can only be adjusted by any tool, The bullet of his gun has a unique design allowing it to be used as a Allen wrench to disassemble the weapon or adjust the zeroing. This allows him to carry less tools around that could be cumbersome. The gun's bolt Handel is stubby so Aruna keeps a single empty bullet to act as a lever to make reloading faster, And when the bolt is rocked back it makes a very intimidating sound of pure steel. It's also common practice for him to add graffiti in his bullets like...'Say Cheese!' 'Catch!' 'Free Head ventilation!' 'You'll get a bang out of this one!' 'Aru was here!' or my personal favorites 'Free Haircuts!!' and 'Free 12.7mm Brain Surgery!' and so much more.
His Anti-Material rifle can punch through normal steel, Which should come to no surprise since all Anti-Material rifles are designed that way. So hiding behind walls is useless when you are against the receiving end of his rifle.
But should the time ever come that Aruna needs to spot enemies hiding he can use a Thermal scope, If he scans a mountain with enemies in it..The entire mountain will light up like the 4th of July.
Omega was given to Aruna by his Father and his Mother taught him how to play the flute
When in combat he has two frag grenades and one smoke for escape.
He carries a four strong radio's to communicate with his team in long distance, The radio can pick up random frequencies allowing him to tap into enemy conversations.
Strengths and Weakness[]
Aruna is a skilled marksman able to hit moving targets easily, As a recon expert his role is to scout and go solo while giving info to the team while at enemy territory, But when paired with a team he is extremely cooperative and would obey orders just to complete his mission this reflects his Jackal personality of being a efficient pack hunter.
Since his rifle has no scope he is invisible under the sun and is a very small target along with his Faunus ability to see well at night he is a force to be reckoned with.
Aruna is a master of disguise he would blend seamlessly with the crowd you would see him play a flute. He would take advantage of this and gain Intel on the enemy and make preparations to ambush them, He will closely monitor enemy activity picking up patterns from the enemy. Then he will kill you quickly and disappear in the sands.
His gear is designed for hit and run tactics moving through many sniping spots to confuse the enemy and he can disappear in the desert without a trace and live for a very long period of time.Since Jackals are known scavengers. He makes use of the things around his environment to increase his survival he makes the best of everything he finds and crafts useful tools. When he shoots he will relocate in many places confusing the living hell out of the enemy. He is very crafty with his escapes from zip lines, hay drops to booby exit routes. He always have a plan A,B,C and Z.
His greatest strength is simply the desert. He knows the desert better than anyone else he can traverse through quickly,survive and hunt down his prey this is made even better with his heightened perception as a Faunus.
He grew up in a farm so its no surprise he has knowledge in farming.
Since he is a Faunus he has night vision combined with a thermal scope he is a powerful force to deal with at the night. So I suggest try not fighting him at the desert during the night because he can see you and he is gonna make sure you are going to have a bad time.
Another strength he is known to have is that he can take quite massive blows before his aura breaks.
His weakness is that he lacks the weapons for close combat. He is quite skilled in hand to hand but he will be easily overpowered by enemies with better weapons. Aruna's Omega is built to counter snipe but Aruna has never experienced hunting snipers he is prone to making mistakes against this type of foe, When he is at enemy territory by himself he can get cornered he is built to escape;since he has iron sights he still stands a chance against enemies up close. He is also afraid of the Nevermore Grimm type
Omega is a Anti-Material rifle, So it should come to no surprise that the recoil is strong. So he has to shoot and stop to fix his aim. The gun is uncomfortable to shoot because the gases expelled by the barrel is so strong it hits you in the face with allot of force.
Another flaw is the Thermal scope, Yes it can be OP but it consumes allot of battery so it can last for a single day of constant use. Also with this he is a big target since the scope literally bulges out of his gun. The scope makes hitting targets in CQB bit difficult. He does not use the thermal scope for shooting it's just for recon.
Another weakness is that he relies heavily on plans, If a plan goes wrong and he will panick and make irrational choices.
His greatest weakness or perhaps strength is he is very caring to the people around him he would sometimes completely forget about his safety, He would rush in a middle of a intense battle just to rescue his wounded comrades.
History[]
Aruna was born during Faunus revolution his parents were both Faunus but they did not side with the white fang even if they were fighting along the humans there was still racism but he was raised in a normal environment in the kingdom of Vacuo he grew up in a small desert hut at the outskirts of the city.
When Aruna was a small child. They were mistreated and they had struggled financially and he asked why the world was so unfair to people like his family. His father knew what he felt. His Father was still able to send Aruna to a proper academy.
Since they were far away from the city they had to fend off Grimm by themselves so Aruna had to aid his father but he was a poor shot.When he would study in Shade academy he was often bullied because of his heritage that made Aruna really mad at humans.
But one day they were attacked by a huge wave of Grimms, The situation looked hopeless they were surrounded and they were out of ammunition when a group of human hunters came to save them. That changed Aruna's view and because of that he wanted to become a Hunter; It made an impression to his life and that made him respect authority.
He studied harder in Shade he begged his Father to test his skills. The humans who once bullied him came to respect him for his determination and kindness his Father taught him how to be a better sniper and person to respect the law.
After graduating Shade he wanted to improve his skills he wanted leave his home for a few days all by himself he was out to hunt Grimm and discover his Semblance.
Then when he showed he was ready he was assigned by his Father to hunt down Beowolfs that had been killing their livestock,Aruna took the job to finally prove himself worthy.
He would stalk the lone Grimm by himself he knew that going against a pack is suicide.Through the harsh deserts of Vacuo He would hunt down lone Beowolf Grimm by himself while further adapting to his environment, When food and water started to get scarce he pushed his survival skills to the limits eating almost anything that moved in the desert! Out in the wilds he learned patience he would lay under a tarp motionless as the sun slowly roasted him alive sometimes he would be under a powerful sandstorm while he waited for a lone prey to fall in his sights.
And after two days passed he spotted a single beast, He shot the creature and little did he know he killed one of the members of a large Pack. A fierce battle took place he was far away but they were too many and his ammunition is dangerously low. He thought he would meet his end here, He came to terms with himself and knew he just might die.
He felt calm and collective. As soon as he opened his eyes he felt a rush of speed and quickly took aim at the Grimms and killed four of them at the span of one second. At first he could not believe that he just killed them all at a short span of time! He felt proud and suddenly he started to feel weak and collapsed to the ground. The next day he was found by a group of hunters and was nursed back to good health.
Even after the incident he would go hunt down Grimm by himself to practice his aim because of that the once Sloppy shooter has turned into a crack-shot! He then garnered himself the title 'Sand Storm' since then he switched to Signal academy to ready himself for his hardest battle yet...Beacon academy.
At the age of 17 he bid farewell to his parents. He was going off the Beacon academy to further improve his skills and to meet new people...Currently he is looking for a team.

Semblance and Aura[]
His Aura is strong he can take big hits before he goes down.
His semblance is called 'Hot-Shot' its only activated when he is extremely relaxed and his breathing is steady. His accuracy improves and follow up shots are so fast its like you are being shot by a machine gun! He tracks people running at a really fast pace allowing him to engage multiple targets simultaneously(It's kinda like having aim-bot) He can still miss but he shoots faster and accurately for a short amount of time.
His reloads are a split second and this last for four minutes and ten seconds max, This is a great counter against fast moving targets but should be used sparingly. This Semblance makes his hands so steady that recoil is not an issue!
The Drawback is that when its used he feels nausea and he can hardly focus making him miss more frequently he only uses this when he needs to cover his friend's retreat.Anything longer than the max time can potentially knock him out or even kill him!

- Aruna means "reddish brown" in Sanskrit. The Hindu god Aruna is the charioteer who drives the sun god Surya across the sky.
- Çakal is Turkish for Jackal
- Omega means 'end' in Greek.
- Omega having many uses is partially inspired by the GALIL AR of Israel, Check out the bipod it is both a wire cutter and a bottle opener.
- If left alone in the desert he will grow a magnificent beard.
- Aruna's infamous Omega Anti-material rifle's function and design is heavily inspired not by a Sniper rifle! Actually its inspired by a machine gun called 'DShKM'.
- His load out is heavily inspired by the insurgents in the middle east being light weight allowing them to attack quickly and disappear.
- He is named after the assassin named 'Jackal' from the movie 'Day of the Jackal'
- His Sniping tactic of mastering the environment and killing people without a scope is a clear nod to the legendary sniper Simo Häyhä who reportedly killed 500+ men with a unscoped sniper rifle!
- He is so good with the flute he can beat box while playing!
- Jackals are hunted down by Falcons and Eagles, Naturally when Aruna meets Faunus of that species you can hear a hint of fear in his voice.
- He eats whole jalapeno peppers as if they are nothing but crackers.
