Appearance[]
Charcoal is a fairly short, average sort of person that somehow pulls off being striking without effort or real attractive traits. His black hair is tied up long, and his piercing eyes are the most obvious feature of his apearance. He has a pale Caucasian complexion that is in sharp contrast with his hair and bright blue eyes, which frames and draw's people straight to look into his deep eyes. Looking at him many would choose to ignore him except for those girls who seem entranced and enticed by his gaze.
His slim physique is generally accentuated by his normal outfit, a gray jump-suit full of hidden pockets. This is his combat outfit and he usually wears it in case of such, but he can sometimes be seen in a poncho and slacks. Some of the more obvious pockets are bulging with things and if one were to focas on the suit it would become obvious to them the amount of weapons he hides in each of them. When he's not wearing the jumpsuit and he's not in the school uniform
Personality[]
Vary much a leader Charcoal takes his position as the leader of CRMS vary seriously, and he tries to hold any amount of control he can over his teammates and others. He sometimes puts of an air of being the superior one and he tries to strengthen this by using his semblance whenever he does things to help him have this imposing air and in battle to help distract from his less imposing teammates. His fighting style is alot of glamour and using vengeance to distract from his real blades.
Owing to a tense situation in his childhood neighborhood between the Faunus population and human, and because of the media and his general upbringing, he has a deep-seated fear of the bestial race. Rather then a fear of the creatures, as he would say, themselves but rather of what their supporters in the general population might do and how the Faunuses will maneuver it into an all out war to eliminate all humans.
Weapons and Abilities[]
Charcoal relies on six hundred and sixty six small razors hidden around his body as his primary damage dealing weapon, but he keeps them hidden in fights and generally relies on his main weapon which is a guitar he calls Vengeance. When he fights with these weapons he generally distracts with his imposing presence and weapon and quickly draws up behind the opponent with the razors. After a certain point he started to experiment with dust infusion in the small implements of battle.
Vengeance[]
His guitar is his main weapon and implement in fights, but he mostly uses it to distract from his real weapons the razors. He'll use gunfire and flashy fighting to do this sort of distraction, using his natural talent and semblance draw a crowd or the enemy fire. As a weapon it's designed to be flashy but is barely strong enough for dust carts and usually only uses small reservoirs of Fire and Lightning dust to create flashy shows as he fires simple lead bullets as well as the normal rounds used against Grimm.
Helter Skelter[]
Stone's main abilities are his imposing figure and personality, and how he can manipulate and control people. His semblance, Helter Skelter, draws the attention of people and helps him increase his presence. It's mostly just illusionary, as it simply draws the attention of people to him and occasionally mesmerises the weak willed. In battle he uses it to draw the attention away from his teammates, making the small light shows Vengeance creates into extravagant pyrotechnics in the eyes of people looking at him. Even though this is his real ability, and it's rather small and simple, he has spent years trying to convince people that he can control their minds, going so far to spread to rumor himself.
The power of the semblance over you is based purely on your willpower and strength of mind. A weak minded person will be caught by the semblance, distracted by the pretty lights and even paralyzed by the force of the power. But this is sherely a form of illusion, the people who see it might still break out simply by not being to type of person who can get distracted by such pyrotechnics. Similarly, a robot will likely have its sensors overloaded by the light for a second, but quickly adjust, and the same can go for Grimm.
Backstory[]
Charcoal was born a part of a normal Atlas family, but emotional problems lead him to be volatile and easily upsettable. This caused him to have trouble in school and for the first few years of his schooling he spent most of his time doing his schooling remotely and spending time with his uncle Soot Stone. Soot was a dust mechanic, a low-level independent dust worker, who taught Charcoal about mixing dust. They worked together like this for years, and Soot spent the time doing his best to get Charcoal into a good school.
Charcoal made it into a hunting preparatory academy,using his uncle as a reference and using his dust-based talents to get him through on less then perfect grades. He turned out to be fairly good at fighting, his combat being erratic but powerful. Learning more about basic weapons and fighting he got more and more invested in his dust-work which he steadly used to become an... average student.

- Because of the name of the semblance I think that his identity is fairly obvious, the character is based on Charles Manson the infamous serial killer and cult leader.
- His semblance was initially going to be mesmerizing or even controlling women, you can understand where that went, so instead its the innate ability to gain attention.
- The name, obviously, is Charcoal and is a reference to a shade of gray.
- While I simply say it's a mix in the description, the dust Stone uses is both fire and lightning dust, which he sometimes mixes into a version he calls glamour dust and it creates a similar effect to a full on light-show with a bunch of smoke and the lightning crackling through it.
