The Kongjian Kongbu are a group of Grimm that were subject to severe genetic experimentation and augmentation by Dr Leonard Reinhold. He used several species of Grimm in these experiments but found the Kongbu, a race that strongly resemble various lizards, such as Chameleons, Frogs and Komodo Dragons, had the most pliable genes, and were therefore the easiest to change.

Appearance[]

Their appearance is remarkably similar to an Adjutant from Mass Effect 3, they stand roughly 7 feet tall, but are hunched over. Their body is covered in thick, black, scaly skin, that is exceedingly thick, and outright absorbs dust and energy attacks, thankfully, they expel this energy in their waste and forcefully amputated limbs. Their skeleton is far too big for their layers of flesh, as their spinal cord, jaws, radius and tibia all pierce their skin leaving the openings to close around them. They have four fingers on each hand and four toes on each foot, as well as a 3 inch long serrated claw extending from their wrists on both arms. The creatures have twelve bright red eyes, two on their face, six on their hunched-over torso and another two on each side of their head, despite this they have little to no eyesight, and rely on acute senses of hearing, smell and tasting the air with their small sections on their tongues, which are expected to be somewhere between a foot and eight feet long. The tongue only seems to have three purposes, to taste the air searching for prey, constricting prey once it has been located, or outright tearing limbs off the prey to hamper it's escape.

Attacks[]

The creatures are incredibly fast, powerful and efficient, dispatching large groups of Grimm with petrifying speed. As for the method of attack, they only use the claws or their tongue for bringing their victims down. For larger beasts, such as Nevermores or large Ursa, they will typically pounce on them, and savagely maul them. They will work in groups if directed, but tend to remain isolated, thankfully for the world, one can only imagine how lethal these creatures would be if they all worked as a cohesive unit.

Weaknesses[]

There are a lot of nerve endings grouped together in their joints, severing these can often leave them unconscious, however it is not uncommon for this to kill them almost instantaneously, due to sudden shock. While they are fast and efficient, they are slightly hindered when facing opponents who are typically faster and/or smaller than they. Their easy to exploit weaknesses do not make them any less of a threat. Their choice to remain alone also means the threat of being ambushed is fairly low, so if one is by itself it is likely that is the only one you'll need to face.
