Appearance[]

 Clothes[]

Vol 1-3[]

Hime dons a frilled white tank top with silver stripes striking diagonally through it, coming up from the lower right corner. Inside of each stripe are what appear to be large, pastel yellow and turquoise stars, their points being covered by the alternating white. Over that, she wears a white blazer that stops at her waist with gold epaulets, as well as many gold, silver and turquoise 'prince-like' ornaments on the jacket. She also wears a white, tiered pleated skirt that stops at her mid-thighs. The top layer is plain white, while the layer under that is a fluffier, translucent silver sheen with many different sized golden stars in it like the ones on her shirt.

Around her waist she wears a very large white ribbon, tied into a bow behind her, in which the extremely long tails fade into silver, gold and turquoise stars. Her shoes are stiletto boots that go up to just below her knee. Coming down from the top right side of the tongue are two turquoise stripes, one a lighter tint, and one a darker tint that wrap around the whole entirety of the boot except for the tongue, which have gold laces going all the way up their length.

Post-Timeskip

Her white tank top has now ditched the frills, appearing much more modern in turn. The cords of the epaulets on her blazer have mostly fallen off, leading her to remove them in preference of shoulder pads. The bottom layer of her combat skirt is slightly tattered in numerous places, showing signs of wear.

The tails of her ribbon are also tattered, seeming to have been burned and having a ashen grey fade into the familiar turquoise and gold stars that show up multiple times through her outfit. Her boots have now become shorter, stopping at just below her calves.

She's turned the numerous, vulnerable metal decorations of her jacket into jewelry, now sporting a necklace with multiple chains and medals.

Personality[]

She's very outgoing and nurturing, with a natural bubbly attitude to her that makes it off-putting to see her anything but content. She can be a bit empty- or air-headed, and can be a bit ditsy at times. She has a lot of talents, but they're more things that she loves doing and dedicated the time to gain knowledge in. Even though she can be a bit absent, Hime is a hard worker and has some of the qualities that make a great leader.

On the battlefield, Hime assumes a completely different persona, becoming authoritative with clear drive in her voice. Any sign of empty-headedness has now faded away as she analyzes the situation and calculates a plan that will bring the most success to her and her teammates.

Weapons and Powers/Abilities[]

Weapon[]

Primary Weapons (Nabiku no Yume)[]

First Form[]

Hime's primary weapons are a set of two knives(Nabi and Niji), around the size of a large kitchen knife, which feature Dust-infused markings along their bodies. Each time she slices with one of the knives, it produces a rainbow of effects, literally, since there are multiple Dust colors infused with the knives. She also has a ribbon attached to the hilt, making it easier to throw these knives long distances, utilizing the recoil of the gun barrel-like hilt of the swords.

Second Form[]

Her weapons can transform into two magnum pistols, with the hilt of the knives serving as the barrels of the guns. She doesn't need ammo, for she already has dust infused into the knives, but she can load rounds into the gun much like a glock pistol.

Semblance[]

Comet: Using all of the different kinds of Dust in her swords, she can create anywhere from five to 15 tangible, spectral stars; the more she makes, the smaller they get(The stars do have a fixed size and she cannot choose whether she can make fifteen 'bigger' stars or five 'small' stars). Then shoot them towards her enemy, causing disorientation and aura damage. Every time she makes the stars, they only last for three minutes without hitting something. They also have a five minute cool-down time in between her generating them. While this stage takes place, there is a turquoise glow around her body from her aura. The different kinds of Dust can also produce many different elemental effects corresponding to her color, and look like a rainbow around her body.

  • Red: Causes fire to erupt from around the place where it hits.
  • Yellow: Causes lightning to erupt and shock the place where it hits.
  • Green: Causes torrents of wind to explode wherever it hits and push the target
  • Light blue: Causes ice to erupt where it hits
  • White: Standard, also function like platforms she can stand on that last for around 3 minutes
    • She can control this further, spinning the star under her and turning it into kind of a boost/trampoline.

Backstory[]

Hime was born to a famous model of a mother and a wealthy businessman, under the cold, February sky. Early on, Hime idolized her mother and wanted to be just like her when she grew up, accompanying the woman to photo-shoots and various fashion shows, hoping to get a glimpse at what her future might be. Sometimes she'd play dress up and don her mother's clothing while she posed, as if she was the one getting photographed.

Her outlook on life started to change when her school took a field trip outside of the city walls, just to show what the world had been like before the prosperity it was experiencing right now. One of her friends insisted that they go look around, and she had been dumb enough to follow. Sure enough, a Beowulf leaped out at them from behind a rock, and while both of them were distracted, it knocked her over and grabbed her friend, dragging him away. She didn't notice it until the teacher had come to find her, but she had a nasty cut on her leg from the Beowulf's claws. It was in that moment that Hime decided she wanted to become a huntress.

She soon applied to Signal, despite her parents advising against it and quickly reached one of the top spots in her class, when it was recommended to her in her final year that she should apply for Beacon; and that's just what she did. Hime wanted to protect the people who couldn't protect themselves; she didn't want another incident like her friend happening.

It was no surprise to anyone around her that Hime was accepted to Beacon, and while she may be good at fighting, she still has a lot more to learn. But ever since that day, Hime vowed to always be one step ahead of anything around the corner.

Trivia[]

  • Her name is written in an eastern, japanese style. Hime (姫) means princess, which denotes traditionally royal colors of gold or silver.
