Selene is a very tall, beautiful girl with hair white like snow that goes down to the middle of her back. Her eyes are an icy blue and her skin is a pale hue with a yellowish-orange undertone.
Clothing[]
Selene wears a sleeveless black dress with many golden accents adorning it; most noticeably the star like pattern wrapping around the base of her skirt, which extends to about her mid thighs with a frilly petticoat underneath. Her shoes are two black stilettos with golden accents around the edges, as well as a golden anklet around her left ankle, matching the charm bracelet on her left wrist, with the charms being small Dust crystals. Adorning her neck is also a beautiful necklace with small Dust crystals as charms.

A single, white foxtail grows from the lower area of her back. Her emblem is tattooed on the nape of her neck in black.
Personality[]
On the surface, Selene appears to be a very happy-go-lucky girl, matched by her infinite charm and charisma. But when faced with a challenge, she becomes cold and calculatory as she does anything to solve the problem at hand, realizing that she is not as strong as she'd like to be.
She knows how to exude confidence and knows that people look up to her due to her beauty, so she tries her best to be the girl that everybody wants her to be. In private, she is actually quite softspoken and prefers to be left alone.
Relationships[]
Hana Yorumori: One of Selene's teammates, she and Hana share a mutual appreciation for animals. She loves being around Hana, especially when the girl is with her wolf. She's never afraid to have Hana's back in any situation, and was actually the main party in what saved her from all those creepy boys in her first year.
Liuxing Jiang: Another one of her teammates, she and Li butt heads a lot - as Li wanted to be the leader of the team instead of Selene. But Selene admires Li's strength and can tell it's not a facade like hers is.
Usagi Yukimura: Selene is especially close to this teammate and treats her like a little sister. She shares Usagi's soft-spoken personality and frequently takes care of the girl, due to her disorder.

Primary Weapon[]
Selene's primary weapon is the necklace named Takaramono that she wears around her neck, holding seven different Dust crystals. Their colors are red, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, and white. She created her weapons in mind with her semblance, the necklace useless without her ability.
Secondary Weapon[]
Her secondary weapon is the charm bracelet on her wrist functioning much of the same way. It holds six dust crystals: red, yellow, green, light blue, and dark blue.
Semblance[]
Foxfire: Selene can create up to nine glowing orbs of energy from Dust, manifested from her aura. Each ball appears to be on fire and can be a different color, but manifesting each separate color requires extra concentration. The orbs will dance around her body and are able to be utilized individually. Each color provides a different effect. The orbs are tangible and can be conjured without dust, having a golden hue akin to her aura, simply inflicting physical damage.

Backstory[]
Childhood[]
Selene was born on a summer night to two loving parents in Mistral, her parents running an extremely large trade network across the continent. One could say that she had been born with a silver spoon in her mouth; throughout her whole childhood, her parents catered to her every whim. But it was dangerous for them as faunuses high up in the world. It seems the higher up you get, the more bigoted people become; there were business associates that would scoff at her family, other scions that would refuse business proposals. All because they were faunuses.
But the most detrimental blow came when her family was attacked; father gravely wounded and put in a wheelchair. She had reached the final blow; every small infraction against her family became incomparable to this one instance. She became cold, as if she was the winter surrounding the arctic fox that her family took their faunus traits after. Every little speck of dirt she could gather on the people who were trying to do her family wrong, she'd sell it to whoever was paying the highest price: a way of keeping her family's fortune intact while her father was unfit to rule.
This is around the time that the White Fang tried to recruit her, but much to their dismay... she said no. For the next few years, small discrepancies presented themselves in her investigations; faunus snuffing out leads she had been chasing for months, the feeling of eyes watching her from high up the Mistralese mountain-tops while she conducted her work at night. It was on the night of her 15th birthday, the year she had chosen to enroll in Sanctum Academy's recruitment program, when everything truly changed.
Her father's presence was requested at a regal business gala, and as a result, the whole entire family went with him. As they drove to the event, Selene couldn't help feeling a nagging sensation of mistrust as she looked up at the shattered moon. Once the family arrived at the event, she requested to work among the guards, much to her mother's behest; as her mother wanted Selene to enjoy the fine life of upper-class royalty. Selene knew better though; and she snuck away to peruse the hidden corridors of the gala hall.
Her father was raising a toast on the podium as he gave his speech and she stood in the crowd, eyes darting to every corner of the stage. She saw a shadow from the corner of her eye and prepared to shout, jumping through the crowd towards her father, but it was too late. His body fell limp in the wheelchair as blood pooled on his best dress shirt, and the girl snapped. She shoved past her family and chased the culprit straight down the long and winding corridor.
As she reached her top pace, she felt a deep... fire... stir within her, and five glowing orbs encircled her body. This was the power that would help her avenge her father; as if the orbs knew of her intent, they bounded down the hall, and she heard a panicked scream before seeing five flashes of light. When she turned the corner and saw the broken pieces of a White Fang mask scattered on the ground, she was disgusted by the man cowering in fear before her. He ran as she turned away from him, after making him swear he would leave the White Fang and make his life mean something.
The rest of her family seemed utterly defeated by her father's death, but Selene refused to let this moment silence her. As they all cried, she walked out of the gala with dignity and a newfound resolve; soon after, she sent in an application for Sanctum Academy. It was there she would train to defeat the White Fang for the pain and suffering they had caused her and her family; and she promised she would never let anyone else die while she watched over them.
Sanctum Academy[]
Selene's years at Sanctum were easy enough, her teachers taught her how to properly harness her aura and utilize her Semblance, as opposed to activating it through a blind fit of range; this proved useful in her sparring exercises. She also had help training in multiple hand-to-hand combat techniques after choosing her weapons.
