The Child of Grimm is based on the american anime known as RWBY. It's a story that takes place after the events of Volume 2 and the events prior to Volume 3. Many of the same events that occur within RWBY Volume 3 also occur in The Child of Grimm, but the story is slightly different.

Three weeks before the Vytal Festival, Team RWBY finds a little girl that is looking for her father while at the same time, she's avoiding her captors the White Fang. Team RWBY as well as Team JNPR look after the child while they try to figure out why the White Fang wants her, and what they have against her dad. What kind of secrets will they uncover?[1]
