Stepping Down from my position
To make an announcement; I am officially dropping my position as administrator on the RWBY Fanon Wiki.
To be clear, I do intend to remain just as active in chat, just without administrative abilities and whatnot.
This is, to a significant extent, in response to the fact that people continue to point out inactivity, such as a few weeks ago when building a new computer and switching (Which didn't work out. Dammet, Gigabyte!) and I was off for a few days before I was able to get everything set up again. Bottom line being, this isn't the first time that I couldn't get on, and I've talked with Tsu about it and agreed to step down.

Basic RWBY Fanon Roleplaying Tips

- Err on the side of your post being too long, if anything. Nothing can make people not want to roleplay with you quite in the same way as seeing you post on a roleplay with one-liners, two-liners, or posts that are only long because you popped a few extra spaces in here or there, or spammed your enter key. Naming your OC
With the recently release official list of rules for the naming of Ruby characters and OCs, Monty has thrown a bit of a wrench in the creation of OCs here on the fanon, with many people rushing to change the names or even identities of their characters.
Basically, a character's name must be a color, something that sounds like a color, something that means a color, or something that makes you think of a color. The same applies for team names, which also, obviously, are made up of the team member's initials.

Music for the pages
One thing I've noticed many users doing is, for their OCs theme music, simply adding a hyperlink to the song on youtube, or even simply a video. Hyperlinks make people less likely to listen to the music, and videos often just plain make the page look messy. Here's how to add music to your OCs page.
- Acquire MP3 or other audio file of song. If you already have the song in .ogg format, you may skip straight to step 3. You can acquire the song via a youtube-mp3 converter, although this may be considered piracy.
